Travis is a Partner of Bluprint Ventures. With more than 20 years of experience in the home building industry, Travis Avery has served in numerous leadership roles. As Vice President of Operations, Travis oversaw the procurement and vertical construction operations for Highland Homes’ Build-to-Rent development company, HHS Residential. As one of the original team members at HHS Residential, Travis played a critical role in the creation of the processes that helped HHS Residential grow to over 25 projects in all 5 major markets in Texas comprising of more than 2,500 homes.

Prior to joining HHS Residential in 2019, Travis was the National Director of Strategic Procurement and Implementation for Taylor Morrison. In this role, Travis was able to establish strategic partnerships with national manufactures and implement more than $30 million in saving through vendor negations throughout 17 markets. During his 17-year tenure at Taylor Morrison/Darling Homes, Travis also served as the Director of Purchasing, Director of Construction,  and Area Sales /Construction Manager.

Mr. Avery received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University while majoring in Construction Management with a minor in Business.
